After hitting record highs, the Nursing and Allied Demand Index has stabilized, with new orders and average bill rates returning to normal levels in the first seven months of 2024.

Current trends for nursing positions show weekly new open orders range between 2,000 and 4,000, with recent bill rates averaging $82 to $84. The highest recent weekly rate was $83.91 the second week of July 2024. For allied positions, weekly new open orders range between 1,000 and 1,500, while bill rates for allied positions remain stable between $82 to $85, with the highest weekly rate exceeding the average range at $84.55 the final week of July 2024.
