Since joining the AHSA credentialing team in August of 2021, Marcia has dived deep into her role. With over 16 years of experience in credentialing, including locums, managed care, and private practice settings, she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with the team. Marcia is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; however, she has been in the US since 1986, living on the East Coast until last year when she and her husband decided to move to Albuquerque, NM. To improve her English, Marcia took on a second degree at John Hopkins and also has a BS in Psychology from Brazil. Once the day is done, she enjoys hiking and day-tripping around her new home state.
